A house built for the way Hokkaido is actually used
Villa Matsu stands among rice paddies and farmland in Nakafurano. Mount Ashibetsu is visible from the balcony, and the Tokachi range, including Mt. Oputateshike, fills the living room and master bedroom windows.
Inside there is underfloor heating throughout, a fully heated genkan, a drying room for wet gear and a garage for four cars. In warmer months the balcony BBQ and the open kitchen do most of the work.

Skiing at Furano
Furano holds reliable snow and shorter lift queues than the better known resorts. The villa is set up for it, with a heated genkan, a drying room, a garage and a spa bath.

How many guests can stay?
Six across three bedrooms, each configured as a convertible twin or king. A seventh guest can be accommodated on request.
What is the minimum stay?
Three nights. Most guests book between three and six nights and use the villa as a base for the wider Furano and Biei region.
Do we need a car?
We recommend one. Nakafurano is rural, and the gondola, Farm Tomita and Biei are all short drives. The villa has a built in garage and parking for four cars. Winter tyres are standard on Hokkaido rentals from November to April.
Is the villa suitable for ski gear?
Yes. There is a fully heated genkan, a dedicated drying room, a washer and dryer, and a garage so the car stays clear of snow overnight.
What are the check in and check out times?
Check in from 16:00 and check out by 11:00. Early check in or late check out may be available on request.
Who manages the property?
H2 Group Management handles guest support and property care. Villa Matsu is part of their Signature Collection, so it is fully self catered and daily housekeeping is not included. The team can be reached in English, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Korean and Thai.
